Renovation of a transportation facility in Wellsville, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a transportation facility.
The project generally includes the reconstruction of the heating system and restoration of the building envelope for the existing hangar No. 4 at the Wellsville Municipal Airport. This project consists of the replacement of the existing air rotation unit with a new gas-fired forced air system, replacement of lighting fixtures, and insulation upgrades. All bids must be accompanied by a Proposal Surety (Bid Bond or other instrument as described in the Instructions to Bidders) in the amount of five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid. All prospective Bidders, Contractors, Subcontractors, and Suppliers shall direct all inquiries related to this project solely to Michael Martin, Engineer, McFarland Johnson, mmartin@mjinc.com or by phone (607)584-6941. The deadline for submitting inquiries related to this project is Wednesday, June 17, 2026 at 12:00 p.m. (noon) local time. The Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) Utilization Goal is 0.0%. The EEO goal for the Contractors work force is 6.3% for Minority participation and 6.9% for Women participation. The Town of Wellsville reserves the right to reject any and all bid Proposals and to waive any informality in bid Proposals received.
