The City of Lawrenceville is soliciting competitive sealed bids from qualified contractors for the Demolition of 38 Reid Street, located at 38 Reid Street, Lawrenceville, GA 30046. The work to be performed by the Contractor consists of, but is not limited to, the following major items: secure the perimeter following International Building Code; install erosion control measurements around the jobsite; completely demolish and remove all building structures including, but not limited to, floor slabs, drains, lifts, concrete footpaths, septic tanks (if any), debris, drums, containers, used ASTSs, signs, junk and trash removal, trees & shrubs, and other components inside and outside the main building; asphalt parking area and fencing are to remain and not be demolished; grade, backfill, and compact the disturbed area, sloping it to prevent water retention (around 1% grade), and apply seed and straw after site disturbance; remove and properly dispose of all demolition debris in accordance with the Georgia Comprehensive Solid Waste Management Act of 1990 and the Georgia Rules for Solid Waste Management Chapter 391-3-4. Sealed bids will be received by the Lawrenceville Finance Department until 2:00 P.M. local time on Thursday, July 9, 2026. Any bid received after 2:00 P.M. will not be accepted.
