Traffic control, erosion control, site clearing, grading, excavation, concrete curb and gutter installation, sidewalk and plaza construction, ADA ramps, crack sealing, seal coating, thermoplastic striping, painted handrail installation, and removable bollards. The work to be performed by the General Contractor and consist of but is not limited to the following major items: o TRAFFIC CONTROL for both vehicular and pedestrians following the latest MUTCD and GDOT standards. o EROSION CONTROL BMP's including mulch, temporary grassing, and sodding. o SITE WORK including clearing & grubbing, remove and replace existing signs, grading and excavation. o CONCRETE PAVING including construct concrete curb & gutter, construct sidewalk/plaza and ADA ramps. o CRACK SEALING, SEAL COATING, AND THERMOPLASTIC STRIPING. o 42" PAINTED HANDRAIL. o REMOVABLE BOLLARDS. o Site clearing. o The equipment and materials to be furnished by the Contractor will be installed at the locations shown on the Drawings and as described in the respective section of these specifications. o All work shall comply with all Federal, State, and local requirements and specifications. o The latest GDOT Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction of the Georgia Department of Transportation, shall govern the construction of this project.
