Renovation of an educational facility in Hope, New Jersey. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 30,499-square-foot educational facility.

The scope of work includes upgrading the existing electrical service, switchgear, and providing new distribution panels at the Hope Township Elementary School. The new service will require a new pad-mounted utility transformer, new exterior mounted switchgear, and approximately four distribution panels located throughout the school. The Contract Documents define the full project scope. Bids will be received for a lump sum price for the entire project, all trades, all inclusive. Instructions to bidders: Bidders must be pre-qualified by the New Jersey Department of Treasury, Division of Property Management and Construction (DPMC) in the electrical category (C047). All major subcontractors must also be prequalified. Bidders must submit with the bid a Certificate of Prequalification/Classification from the DPMC and an Affidavit as to the Total Amount of Uncompleted Contracts for themselves and for all listed subcontractors. No modifications to the Instructions to Bidders, General Conditions, Supplemental Conditions, or Specifications are allowed prior to bid acceptance, except as permitted by addenda. Bids proposing modifications will be rejected as non-responsive. Bidders must comply with all legal requirements and submit all mandatory forms and certifications, including bid security, certificates, and affidavits as specified.
