The City of St. Johns is accepting sealed bids for the replacement of defective sidewalk, installation of ADA-compliant ramps, curb replacement, and associated site restoration. The work involves removal and replacement of defective sidewalk sections, ADA ramp and curb improvements, and restoration of all disturbed areas. All work must conform to the City of St. Johns' current construction standards and specifications. The scope of work for sidewalk replacement includes removal and disposal of existing sidewalk, preparation and grading of the subbase, placement of a minimum 4-inch compacted aggregate base, removal of roots, debris, and unsuitable materials, installation of forms to ensure proper drainage and prevent ponding or standing water, placement and finishing of concrete sidewalk according to City standards, and restoration of all disturbed lawn areas after form removal, including grading, placement of organic topsoil, and application of grass seed.
