Sealed proposals are requested for all work necessary and incidental to "RFP 2027-03 LLB BHMS-RBHS Chiller Replacement Phase II." Qualified Lease-Leaseback (LLB) construction services entities are to provide pre-construction services, including design support, constructability review, and value engineering, as well as construction services for the specified project. All services must be performed according to the contract documents, plans, and specifications provided by the District. Deliver a reliable, energy-efficient, and future-ready chiller plant that supports student learning and campus operations while minimizing disruptions to the school community. Through collaboration, transparency, and innovation, the project team will provide a safe and successful modernization that maximizes value and ensures long-term performance of the campus HVAC infrastructure. Respondents must: - Submit sealed proposals before the deadline. - Be prequalified using the District's online Prequalification Application. - Hold a CSLB Class B General Building Contractor License. - Preferably have at least five years' experience in similar work. - Pay prevailing wage rates as determined by the Director of the Department of Industrial Relations. - Comply with apprentice requirements for public works contracts. Late, oral, telegraphic, electronic, facsimile, or telephone proposals will not be accepted unless expressly allowed. The District may reject any or all proposals or waive irregularities or informalities. Proposals may not be withdrawn for thirty days after the submission deadline.
