Demolition, site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Marietta, Georgia. Completed plans call for the demolition of a retail development; for the construction of a retail development; for site work for a retail development; warehouse / distribution facility; and warehouse / distribution facility.
Hogan construction the cm for the project is requesting gmp pricing at this time. The project involves the construction of two pole barns, demolition of two pole barns, and one sign and signal shop, and related sitework for those buildings. The project is located at cobb county's dot and fleet maintenance facility on the west side of county services parkway, and just to the north of al bishop drive. It is located due west of cobb county SOLID waste management facility. Phase 1 (refer to sheet a110 & a121 cobb dot pole barns) Construct building 22 dot pole barn (13,191 sf). This requires demolition of the existing paved area to achieve the proposed grades shown on c321. Site water service and sanitary service will also be run to the building. A 63' x 60' portion of the pole barn on the south end will be enclosed and include all interior finishes and mep & fire alarm. Also included will be low voltage systems. We do not have the scope for low voltage at this time for the built out area. Construct the gdot pole barn (3,900 sf). Refer to sheet a121 this building is at the south end of the complex near al bishop drive. The location and orientation of this building is being altered, but the size and layout of the building will remain the same. This requires regrading as required. This building is enclosed on 4 sides with a large gated entry. Construction of the pole barns will be as follows: load bearing slab on grade, psl posts with foundations, lvl beams, tji joists, plywood decking and metal roofing. Metal siding where needed. Phase 2 cobb dot signs and signals shop (15,461) This requires demolition of buildings, 13, 14, and 16. Building 12 shown on the plan, has been demolished, as well as existing paving for building and to enable grading per the design and new storm lines. The new building is a pre-engineered metal building, with office space, sign and signal work areas, and sign and signal warehouse space. All interior finishes, mep furniture, and low voltage systems are included.
