The University of California, Riverside campus proposes to construct the North District Phase 3 and Blaine Street Parking Structure, a new 445,000 GSF residential housing building with 1300-1350 beds, residential support services offices, community amenities (laundry, fitness, etc.), retail, living learning (seminar rooms, study rooms, etc.), support & maintenance (trash/recycling, custodial, etc.) and a Central Utility Plant. The construction of the parking structure consists of approximately 2,000 parking spaces with the potential of a photovoltaic array.
