Site work and paving for a road / highway in Nelsonville, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
Bids are requested for the Pavelski Road LRIP road project, covering the section from County Road SS for 592 feet to the Town of Amherst Boundary Line. The contractor is responsible for all traffic control, including barricading, flagging, and advanced signage following the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD). Low shoulder signage must be provided. Prep work consists of cuffing, pulverizing, regrading, and rolling. The pavement consists of a 70-hot mix asphalt pavement with a travel width of 10 feet per lane (20 feet total). Butt joints should be installed at project ends and driveways to match adjacent pavement. The surface is to be paved using WisDOT Spec Type LT Asphalt Mix compacted to an average thickness of 1.50 inches per lift, with a total of two lifts (3.00 inches). Shoulders and driveway approaches require furnishing and installing a base for 2-foot shoulders. An engineer’s certification and certificate of liability insurance are required. All work and materials must comply with WisDOT specifications. All bidders must complete a proposal form and submit it in a sealed envelope marked for the Pavelski Road Project. Bids must be submitted to the Village Clerk. No bid may be withdrawn for 30 days after the scheduled opening. The Village Board reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive any conditions of bidding, or accept any bid most advantageous to the Village. -Sealed bids are due by 4:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 23, 2026.
