This project includes the renovation of the existing Historic Baltimore City College Main Building, existing Annex Building, and a new addition. The gross square footage breakdown is as follows: Main Building: 302,683 Gsf; Annex Building: 23,568 Gsf; New Addition: 22,979 Gsf. The project will be constructed in multiple phases. Phase 2.5 will consist of Earthwork, Site Utilities, and Electrical. Bidders are advised to read the full scope of work for details on this phase. The Contractor or Supplier shall attempt to achieve MBE goals: Total MBE = 33%, with sub-goals of African-American = 8% and Women Owned = 11%. Must be a Certified MBE through Maryland Department of Transportation (MDOT). The OCIP Manual and Safety Standards must be acknowledged. All bidders must acknowledge the prevailing wages. Proposals that do not acknowledge MBE goals or the Workforce Development Plan will be considered non-responsive. All bidders must be prequalified with DAVIS.
