Description

Remodeling of an educational facility in Chicopee, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the remodel of a educational facility.

Sealed bids are invited for refinishing gym floors at various schools. Each bid must include a 5% certified check, bond, or money order as a deposit. A 100% performance bond and a labor and materials payment bond for the full contract price are required from the successful bidder. Employment conditions and minimum wage rates as specified by the Massachusetts commissioner of Labor and Industries, chapter 149, Section 26 to 27F inclusive, apply. Instructions to bidders also include Equal Opportunity Requirements under Executive Order NO 11246. Specifications and proposal forms are available from the City Purchasing Agent. Certified and qualified Minority Business Enterprises are strongly encouraged to submit proposals. All bids must be submitted in duplicate (one original and one copy). The Purchasing Agent reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
