Description

Renovation of an educational facility in Holyoke, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 8,500-square-foot educational facility.

The project involves the renovation of approximately 8,500 gross square feet in a cast-in-place concrete building constructed in 1971, which primarily contains classrooms, teaching laboratories, offices, and student study and meeting areas. Trade Contractor Statement of Qualifications are sought for the following categories of work: Metal Windows, Glass & Glazing, Tile, Acoustical Tile, Resilient Floors, Painting, Fire Protection Sprinkler System, Plumbing, HVAC, and Electrical. Only prequalified firms for each category will be permitted to submit bids for the relevant work categories. Pre-qualification requirements: Qualified and experienced Trade Contractors must submit a Trade Contractor Statement of Qualifications. Only those firms prequalified through this process may submit bids for the specified categories of work. The process is the first phase of a two-phase procurement process as set forth in MGL Chapter 149A.
