This project consists of procuring and installing a complete, campus-wide network video surveillance system across multiple DRI locations, including cameras, edge/server routing, software integration, storage, testing, training, and closeout documentation. The system must provide full entrance and parking-area coverage, route feeds by campus to the appropriate UPD monitoring environment and maintain compatible 30-day video retention on designated server infrastructure. The bid package is structured to prequalify only highly qualified integrators with the required manufacturer, software, security, and CPTED certifications so the Owner receives a fully coordinated, supportable, standards-based security system. Special Considerations: Bidders must meet the project-specific qualifications already written into the specs: CPP, PSP, PCI, Milestone XProtect certifications, Axis Certified Professional certifications, CPTED certification, manufacturer/software partner status, and qualified/certified project staff. The contractor must coordinate access, staging, parking, lift use, pathway routing, building entry, IDF/MDF/server room access, roof or exterior-wall access if applicable, utility/network connections, existing low-voltage pathways, fire-rated penetrations, adjacent occupied building impacts, research/lab operational impacts, pedestrian and vehicle circulation, and UPD IT coordination. Work must be phased and scheduled to minimize disruption to occupied DRI facilities and to maintain safe access to entrances, parking lots, and campus circulation routes. Estimated Cost Range: $300,000 to $400,000 provide all labor, supervision, project management, materials, equipment, software, programming, licenses, training, commissioning, documentation, testing, and incidentals necessary to furnish and install a complete, fully operational, network-based video surveillance system for the Project site(s) of DRI Reno, Stead, Las Vegas, and Boulder City Campuses, including all associated hardware, software, integration, and accessories required for a turnkey installation. Work shall include, but is not limited to, the following: 1. Furnish and install new surveillance cameras, mounts, housings, brackets, backboxes, enclosures, network cabling, patching, terminations, power supplies, PoE switches where required, surge protection, labeling, and all accessories necessary for a complete and operational system. 2. Furnish, install, configure, license, test, and commission the specified video management software platform manufactured by MILESTONE SYSTEMS. 3. Provide full integration of the new surveillance system and software with the Owner's existing software/platform identified as LENEL S2 by Honeywell and AVIGILON, including live monitoring, viewing permissions, event handling, stream sharing, interoperability, export functions, health monitoring, and feed transmission as required by the Contract Documents. 4. Provide all server, workstation, storage, gateway, encoder, decoder, appliance, middleware, API, or connector components required to support the specified system architecture and integrations. 5. Provide all software licensing necessary for a complete and permanently functional system, including device licenses, server licenses, client licenses, analytics licenses if applicable, integration licenses, API modules, and support subscriptions required for final system acceptance. 6. Provide all programming, configuration, firmware coordination, network setup coordination, user permissions, camera naming, map setup, views, groups, alerts, recording schedules, retention settings, and integration settings required to deliver a complete operational system. 7. Provide startup, testing, commissioning, Owner training, record documentation, warranties, and closeout documents. The intent of this solicitation is to obtain bids only from qualified firms that are demonstrably certified, authorized, and experienced in the installation, configuration, commissioning, and support of the specified equipment manufacturer(s) and software platform(s). Bids from firms that do not fully meet the certification and authorization requirements stated herein shall be considered non-responsive. *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
