The scope will include repair to existing as well as construction of new systems and hazardous material remediation. The scope may include accessibility improvements and Fire/Life Safety upgrades. Work may require interaction with Universitys shop staff during project delivery. The University has an in-house department that handles regular elevator servicing and maintenance. This contract is not for the purposes of an elevator service contract. Work on this project does not include any work at any UC Davis leased property, the Primate Center, any project involving federal or other grant funded terms and conditions, or any projects that require the inclusion of Davis-Bacon Wage rates. Work will include elevator renovation and modernization projects costing between $50,000 and $200,000 per Job Order. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. The University has determined that bidders who submit bids on this project must be prequalified. Prequalified bidders will be required to have the following California contractors license: Elevator - C-11 The Prequalification Questionnaire will be available on Thursday, June 11, 2026, and may be found on the UC Davis online The University reserves the right to reject any or all responses to Prequalification Questionnaires and to waive non-material irregularities in any response received.
