The Work of this Contract is generally described as the drilling, geologic sampling, pump testing, and all associated work for a new municipal test well for the City of Ripon. Test Well No. 10 will be constructed approximately 40 feet east of proposed final Well No. 10. A 12-inch diameter borehole will extend from the surface through the unconsolidated formation and into the limestone formation to a depth of 100 feet. The static water level is expected at a depth of 45 feet. A string of new 0.322-inch-thick wall 8-inch diameter steel well casing meeting the requirements of s. NR 811.12(7), Wis. Adm. Code will be installed from the surface to a depth of 100 feet. The casing will beassembled with welded joints and will be fitted with centering guides to permit unobstructed flow and uniform thickness of grout within the annular space. The annular space surrounding the 8-inch diameter well casing willbe pressure grouted from 100 feet up to the surface with neat cement.
