Site work and paving for a road / highway in Ripon, Wisconsin. Completed plans call civil work for a road / highway.
Pulverizing of approximately 2.5 miles (30,000 sq. yd.) of asphalt pavement, fine grading, asphalt paving (3.5" thickness, 11' lanes), topsoil shoulders, approximately 25,800 linear feet of 2' wide gravel shoulder, erosion control, and traffic control. This project covers the section of Prairie Road from Miller Road northward to Thomas Road, including the intersection of Center Road, excluding the intersections of Thomas Road and Miller Road. Bids must be accompanied by bid security in the form of a certified check or bid bond equal to five percent of the maximum bid price, payable to the Owner as a guaranty that if the Bid is accepted, the Bidder will execute the Contract Documents and furnish the required contract security. If the Successful Bidder fails to execute the Contract Documents and provide the required contract security within 15 days after the Notice of Award, the Owner may annul the Notice of Award and the Bid Security will be forfeited. Bids may not be withdrawn within 60 days after the date of the bid opening. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, and to award the Contract to the Bidder, who in the judgment of the Owner, will best serve the interest of the Owner.
