Site work for a fire / police facility in Sylvania, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a fire / police facility.
The work includes the furnishing of all labor, equipment, materials, appurtenances, and incidentals required for the Sylvania Fire Station No. 4: Fire Tower Site Improvements, in accordance with the documents prepared by Colliers Engineering and Design. Each bid must be submitted using the specified forms included in the Project Manual and must comply with the Revised Code of Ohio, including the names of every person and company interested. Bidders must submit evidence of their experience on projects of similar size and complexity. Bids must be accompanied by a proper certificate for corporations not chartered in Ohio, confirming authorization to do business in Ohio. All contractors and subcontractors must, to the extent practicable, use Ohio products, materials, services, and labor. Preference will be given to contractors whose principal place of business is in Ohio over those from states with similar preferential policies. Domestic steel use requirements as specified in Section 153.011 of the Revised Code apply. The project is subject to prevailing wage rates established by the Ohio Department of Industrial Relations, and bidders must ensure non-discrimination in employment. No contract will be entered unless the bidder has a valid certificate of compliance with affirmative action programs issued pursuant to Section 9.47 of the Revised Code.
