Site work and paving for a civil project in Palm Desert, California. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.

The City of Palm Desert, ("City") invites and will receive sealed Bids for the furnishing of all labor, equipment, materials, tools, services, transportation, permits, utilities, and all other items necessary for Monterey Avenue Street Rehabilitation, Project No. CST00027 (the "Project"). The project will rehabilitate the asphalt concrete street section on Monterey Avenue from Gerald Ford Drive to the northern City Limit. The items of work consist of mobilization, traffic control, lowering valves and manholes, concrete removal, cold milling, localized asphalt repair, constructing asphalt concrete paving, portland cement concrete improvements, installing traffic signal loops and pull boxes, installing metal beam guardrail, striping with paint, and raising valve and manhole covers to grade. Question Submission Deadline: June 15, 2026, 2:00pm Questions regarding the Contract Documents, requests for interpretations or clarifications, either administrative or technical, may be submitted through electronically. All written questions, if answered, will be answered in writing, conveyed to all interested Bidders, and posted through online. Oral statements regarding this Bid by any persons should be considered unverified information unless confirmed in writing. Question Response Deadline: June 18, 2026, 2:00pm Time is of the essence in the performance of the Work. The Work shall commence on the date stated in the City's Notice to Proceed. The Contractor shall complete all Work required by the Contract Documents within 60 Calendar Days of the Notice to Proceed commencement date. Each Bid shall be accompanied by cash, a certified or cashier's check, or Bid Bond secured from a surety company satisfactory to the City, the amount of which shall not be less than ten percent (10%) of the submitted Total Bid Price, made payable to City of Palm Desert to guarantee the Bidder will enter into a Contract with the City. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish a Faithful Performance Bond and a Labor and Material Payment Bond each in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Price. Each bond shall be in the forms set forth herein, shall be secured from a surety company that meets all State of California bonding requirements, as defined in California Code of Civil Procedure Section 995.120, and that is a California admitted surety insurer.
