Description

Renovation of a municipal facility in Grande Prairie, Alberta. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.

The GPPB is currently vacant to accommodate the work required to support a large-scale interior renewal and modernization program, building envelope repairs, hazardous materials remediation, and upgrades to the building's electrical and mechanical systems. The work is intended to support continued building operations, improve long-term asset reliability, and address applicable code compliance requirements. TIMELINE: Request for Proposals for prime consultant services is underway. The owner is seeking a Prime Architectural Consulting Services firm to provide complete multidisciplinary services for the assessment, design, documentation, tendering, construction administration, and project closeout associated with the proposed building-wide renewal and modernization program. Construction is planned for 2027. Further update may be available late summer. *Budget is unreleased. Deadline for Proponents to Submit Questions 06-07-2026
