The City of Aspen is seeking early contractor involvement during design to improve constructability, cost certainty, schedule reliability, and risk management, with the potential to negotiate a Construction Agreed Price (CAP) and proceed to construction. The City is currently under contract with Engineering Operations (eO) for design of the bridge replacement. The City intends to select a CM in time to review feasibility of 30% design and provide cost estimates in approximately August-September 2026. Construction is tentatively planned for Spring/Summer 2027 to align with the Aspen Airport closure, subject to funding, permitting, and CAP approval. - Performance Bond 100 % - Maintenance Bond 100 % - Payment Bond 100 % The City reserves the right to reject any or all Proposals or accept what is, in its judgment, the Proposal which is in the City's best interest.
