Site work for an educational facility in Cheswick, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a educational facility.
The scope of work includes the installation of electronic radar speed limit signs and flashing beacon pedestrian signs at Acmetonia Elementary School along Little Deer Creek Valley Road. The work is to be complete in every detail, including furnishing, constructing, installing, removing, and testing all equipment, materials, and products necessary for the aforementioned scope, all within public right-of-way. Any work performed outside of the public right-of-way will be the Contractor's responsibility to coordinate with private property owners. Bidders are required to purchase the Bid Documents in PDF format for a non-refundable deposit. Proposals must be submitted using forms provided by the School District and accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid. Pennsylvania prevailing wage rates apply. The School District reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive informalities. Bids may not be withdrawn for ninety (90) calendar days after the scheduled time for receipt. Procurement is subject to all requirements of the Pennsylvania Steel Products Procurement Act, Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act, and The Public Works Employment Verification Act. Bidders must comply with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964. Any technical questions regarding the bid documents are to be directed to LSSE.
