Sealed Bids for the Westtown Township 2026 Road Program - Phase II associated with improvements to South Concord Road & Cider Knoll Way will be received online. The Project consists of installation of a scratch and leveling course, placement of new wearing course, widening section of South Concord Road, replacement of inlet tops, installation of pavement and rolled curb around inlets, replacement and adjustment of sanitary manhole frames and tops, and adjustment of water valve boxes. Bids will be received for a single prime contract on a unit price basis as indicated in the Bid Form. Bid security must be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Prevailing minimum wage rates as determined by the Secretary of the Department of Labor and Industry must be paid, and employees and applicants for employment shall not be discriminated against because of race, age, color, religion, sex, national origin, or handicap. Each Bidder is required to meet the requirements of the Public Works Employment Verification Act, Act 127 of 2012. The Owner reserves the right to refuse and reject any or all bids submitted, and to waive any informality in bids received.
