This project requires constructing a new 12,512-square-foot, precast concrete fire station with three apparatus bays at 180th Street and George Miller Parkway. The scope includes initial site development of an undeveloped lot, featuring a mandatory soil surcharge process prior to building construction. All work must deliver a complete, fully functional facility, including utility connections, parking lots, and landscaping, strictly in accordance with the provided project drawings and specifications. Bidders are required to submit an Economic Sustainability Plan. The project qualifies for optional Apprentice utilization, with the Apprenticeship Incentive Form to be attached to the bid submission to utilize this provision. Verification of a "Class A or B" City of Omaha General Contractor's License is required at the time of bid. A bid bond is required, with acceptable substitutes being a certified check, official bank check, cashier's check, lawful money of the United States, or a United States Government Bond. Letters of credit are not accepted. A copy of the bid bond or acceptable substitute must be uploaded with the bid and the original received by the City Clerk within seven calendar days of the closing date and time.
