Renovation of a mixed-use development in Cleveland, Ohio. Completed plans call for the renovation of a medical facility; clubhouse / community center; office development; and 19,620-square-foot retail development.

The New Eastside Market ("Market") is a city-owned retail facility situated at the intersection of East 105th Street and St. Clair Avenue in the Glenville neighborhood. Originally established as a public market that operated until 2007, the facility underwent a significant revitalization and reopened in 2019 as a city-owned, independently operated grocery store. The 19,620 -square-foot building features food retail space, commercial and demonstration kitchens, clinic space, and office space. The City of Cleveland is seeking proposals from qualified operators ("Respondents") for the Market. The City welcomes creative proposals from Respondents. Examples of Respondents include, but are not limited to, organizations, cooperatives, and partnerships. The selected partners ("Operators") will be responsible for carrying out the vision for the Market. The City of Cleveland seeks proposals from qualified operators to manage the New Eastside Market, a city-owned retail facility located at the intersection of East 105th Street and St. Clair Avenue in the Glenville neighborhood. The selected operator will be responsible for advancing the vision for the Market, which includes providing public access to fresh and nutritious food through a full-service grocery retail experience, supporting economic empowerment through a professional-grade shared-use kitchen for food business incubation, and promoting wellness via health services and education in dedicated spaces. Creative proposals are welcomed from organizations, cooperatives, partnerships, and similar entities. Operators will be expected to prioritize food sovereignty, community well-being, sustainable local economic development, and health promotion.
