Demolition for a municipal facility in Claremont, New Hampshire. Completed plans call for the demolition of a municipal facility.
The City of Claremont seeks proposals from qualified and licensed contractors to provide a complete demolition and removal of all materials at 127 Sullivan Street, Claremont, NH. The selected contractor shall be responsible for all labor, materials, equipment, permits, notifications, abatement, demolition, disposal, and regulatory compliance necessary to remove the building in its entirety. The Scope of Work includes: - Pre-Demolition and Regulatory Compliance: Prepare and submit all required notifications, permits, and documentation two weeks prior to mobilizing to the site; coordinate all access, sequencing, and safety controls with the City. - Demolition: Perform complete demolition and removal of the structure, including foundations as directed by the City; coordinate all required utility disconnections; implement dust control, air monitoring if required, and site safety measures. - Disposal and Site Restoration: Transport and dispose of all abatement and demolition waste at licensed and approved facilities; provide all waste shipment records, manifests, and disposal documentation; leave the site in a safe, stable, and graded condition, free of debris and hazards. - Closeout: Provide final abatement clearance documentation as required; submit a complete closeout package including regulatory sign-offs, waste manifests, and a final summary report. Proposals must demonstrate experience with at least three municipal or public-sector demolition projects of similar scope and complexity, and include a summary of these projects. Proposals shall also include a lump-sum price for the demolition, covering all labor, equipment, disposal, and regulatory compliance costs. Only qualified and licensed contractors with adequate staffing, equipment, and financial resources will be considered. All contractors must comply with applicable Equal Employment Opportunity laws and regulations. Evaluation will be based on the most beneficial combination of qualifications, services, and cost.
