This project includes repairing cracks and resurfacing the two original pickleball courts at Salinas Park in Gulf County, FL. Completion is required within 30 days from the Notice to Proceed, with liquidated damages of $250.00 per day for failure to complete on time. Bidders must submit their company name, "SEALED BID," and the bid number on the envelope, including the original bid plus two copies. Electronic submissions must be received before the deadline, and paper-sealed bids may be submitted to the Clerk's Office. All bids must remain firm for sixty days after opening. Bidders must comply with all applicable state and local contracting regulations, including licensing, registration, and Section 287.133(3), Florida Statutes, related to public entity crimes. The County will negotiate and execute a contract with the selected firm prior to the beginning of the actual services. 1. The project site is located in Salinas Park (see attached map) located at 240 Cape San Blas Road. The Parcel ID number is 06305-000R. 2. The scope of work for the pickleball courts include the following: a. Contractor shall remove nets and post as necessary to clean courts and assure proper bonding of the new surface. b. Contractor shall fill cracks with acrylic crack filler. c. Contractor to provide and install Guardian Crack Repair System over cracks. d. Contractor to provide and install per the manufacturer's recommendation two (2) coats of acrylic colorcoating over entire area of courts. e. Contractor to provide and install per manufacturer's recommendation two (2) coats of acrylic Color Concentrate (two tone) to provide in-depth color over court surface. Colors to match existing newer courts or selected by owner. f. Contractor shall locate, mark, and paint two inch (2") wide playing lines in accordance with U.S.A.P.A. regulations using white, textured, heavybodied, acrylic latex paint. g.
