Milling/Barcomilling various road areas (minimum 2 feet wide) by 2 inches deep and paving with 9.5 mm wearing course, approximately 210 square yards; milling/barcomilling 2 feet of existing paved road edge, paving and constructing 4-inch high wedge curb with 9.5 mm wearing course, approximately 320 linear feet; paving with 9.5 mm wearing course to crown roadway, approximately 12 tons; mill/barcomill and pave with 19 mm binder course, approximately 35 tons; and other specified work - all quantities are approximate. Bids must be submitted sealed and designated for the "Hunker Borough Street Improvement Project." Bids must be accompanied by a 10% bid security. The owner reserves the right to waive informalities, eliminate items of work, reduce or increase quantities up to 25%, or reject any or all bids. Proposals must be submitted on the provided form. No bidder may withdraw their bid within 60 days after opening. Contractors must comply with applicable federal and state statutes and regulations. PA prevailing wage rates and grant requirements apply.
