Bid must be accompanied by satisfactory bid security executed by the bidder and an acceptable surety authorized to do business in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania in the amount of 10% of the bid made payable to Hunker Borough Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities and to reject any or all bids. The successful contractor must attach a Certification of Compliance with labor standards as specified by the U.S. Department of Labor in the Davis-Bacon Act, as amended, 40 U.S.C. Sections 276(a) through 276(a)-7 and furnish the County with weekly payrolls. This project is funded in whole or in part with federal funds. Davis-Bacon wage rates and other federal requirements apply and are included in the bid documents. Labor Compliance is mandatory.
