Renovation of a military facility in Portsmouth, Virginia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a military facility.
Provide and install a complete engineered fire suppression system within the diesel generator rooms of three 60-ton portal cranes at Norfolk Naval Shipyard to reduce fire risk associated with diesel-powered equipment, protect personnel and Government assets, minimize operational downtime, and support safe and reliable crane operations. The system installation shall comply with applicable NFPA standards, including NFPA 12, NFPA 72, and NFPA 2001, and meet all requirements specified in the Statement of Work.
