Site work for a sidewalk / parking lot in Braggs, Oklahoma. Completed plans call for site work for a 21,000-square-foot sidewalk / parking lot.
General Scope of Work: The school is accepting bids to replace the existing parking lot. The objective is to resurface the parking lot with new concrete. Areas to be addressed include roughly 18,500 sqft for the main area and roughly 2,500 sqft in front of the school. Project Outline: Remove existing square tubing pipe/vehicle corral; remove concrete vehicle bumpers; excavate top layer of parking lot to meet elevations and needed drainage; form sections of parking lot 6 inches thick; lay inch rebar in a grid of 2-0.; pour 4,000 psi concrete; finish the concrete with a broom texture on surface; remove forms and saw cut for stress relief; install new square tubing pipe for parking guardrail; pour concrete next to parking lot for a water drainage ditch; excavate and remove dirt along road in front of school for new concrete parking; clean up debris; paint square tubing pipe; stripe new parking areas. No electrical, gas, or code upgrades will be included. Instructions to Bidders: All bids shall include executed Non-Collusion Affidavit and Business Relationship Affidavit. All bids shall include a Bid Bond or Cashier's Check equal to 5% of Bid amount. Place all items in a sealed envelope and deliver to Bid Location prior to bid date and time. No late bids will be accepted. No email bids will be accepted. The school will accept the lowest responsible bid based on cost, accuracy and completeness.
