Renovation of a detention facility in Saint Gabriel, Louisiana. Completed plans call for the renovation of a detention facility.
Sealed bids are invited for the Cell Block Door Controls Replacement at Multiple Buildings, Elayn Hunt Correctional Center, St. Gabriel, Louisiana. Complete bidding documents are available electronically and may be obtained without charge from City Blueprint and Supply. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the sum of the base bid and all alternates. The successful bidder must provide a Performance and Payment Bond as described in the bid documents. Bids will be accepted from contractors licensed for the classification of Building Construction and must comply with Louisiana statutory requirements. No bid may be withdrawn for forty-five (45) days after receipt. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids for just cause. Participation in the Small Entrepreneurship (SE) Program and the Veteran-Owned and Service-Connected Disabled Veteran-Owned (LaVet) Small Entrepreneurships Program is encouraged.
