Site work and paving for a road / highway in Waymart, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
Furnish and install 22 tons of 9.5mm for pot hole patching, 10,000 LF bituminous crack sealing, 1 PennDOT approved precast concrete catch basin, reset 2 catch basins, 885 SY of 4" depth base repair, 1,732 tons of 9.5 wearing course in-place, and 624 LF of grading/shaping ditch work. All materials and workmanship must meet PennDOT Publication 408 Specifications, and bidders must be PennDOT pre-qualified for Work Class "F" Bituminous paving. Proposals must be on forms provided by the Borough. All bids must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of ten percent of the bid, made payable to Waymart Borough. The successful bidder will be required to provide Performance and Payment Bonds in the amount of 100% of the contract price within 20 days of the award of the contract. The Borough reserves the right to accept or reject any and/or all proposals or portions thereof, and to delete projects or portions depending on budgetary constraints, and to waive any technicalities. All work must be completed by the specified date; liquidated damages will apply for each day beyond this date that the work remains incomplete. Pennsylvania Prevailing Wages Apply to this contract.
