Work consists of providing non-personal services for semi-annual preventative maintenance, diagnostic troubleshooting, and tuning of three Williams Davis 250 HP gas-fired boilers at the Chalmers P. Wylie VA Ambulatory Care Center. Services include performing preventative maintenance in accordance with boiler operation manuals and industry standards, conducting combustion analysis, testing safety devices, and tuning boilers and ancillary systems for both natural gas and #2 fuel oil. The contractor shall utilize Preferred Controls (VAACC boiler controls programming application) and be licensed to operate Preferred Utilities programming to diagnose and resolve issues. Scope also includes updating Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) and boiler control systems, ensuring system efficiency, safety, and reliability, and complying with applicable codes such as ASME, NFPA, OSHA, and VA directives. The contractor is responsible for providing all labor, supervision, tools, diagnostic equipment, and materials necessary to perform the services, maintaining a Quality Control Program, and ensuring all personnel meet certification and safety requirements while coordinating work schedules to avoid disruption to facility operations.
