Site work, paving and renovation of a mixed-use development in Columbus, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for the renovation of a clubhouse / community center.
This is a community center exterior renovation involving masonry repair, window replacements, paving improvements, and site work. Includes tuckpointing brick, replacing glass block with storefront windows, installing fiber cement panels, concrete work, dumpster enclosure construction, and electrical upgrades. Marion Franklin Community Center is a facility located at 2801 Lockbourne Rd, Columbus OH, 43207. Lazelle Woods Community Center is a facility located at 8140 Sancus Blvd, Westerville, OH 4308. The improvements include and are not limited to: . Replace community center's main entry sign. . Power wash and clear seal coat building. . Repair and replace misc. gutters and downspouts. . Replace existing flagpole and bike rack. Remove and replace existing glass block windows along exterior of building with new aluminum storefront, block filling beneath to new sill height. Remove and replace deteriorated windows along vertical faces of roof structure. Remove all spalls, chips and fractures to from failing block at the NW portion of building patch/fill to adjacent block and seal with Tuff-Coat. Remove and replace wall pack around exterior of building and new conduit runs where needed. New dumpster enclosure Asphalt - striping, curb, sealing, milling and filling as noted. Question Deadline 07/14/2026 at 5:00 PM ET Questions pertaining to the drawings, plans, specifications, IFB, and/or other contract documents must be submitted in writing to the Department of Recreation & Parks, by email to jwcox@columbus.gov The City anticipates issuing a notice to proceed on or about late September 2026. Completion-February 28, 2027. The City may cancel the IFB, reject any or all bids in whole or in part, waive technicalities, and/or advertise for new bids, without liability to the City and when in the best interest of the City. The City shall have 180 calendar days from the date of the bid opening to provide the bidder a Notice of Award. During this 180 period, the bidder agrees to hold their bid prices.
