All questions must be received at least 7 calendar days prior to bid opening. The work consists of furnishing all labor, materials, tools, equipment, and incidentals as required by the plans (Drawing Number 26-02A, Sheets 1-4), Specifications, and Contract Documents. The general items of work include rehabilitation of existing 24 CMP storm drain via Cured-In-Place-Pipe (CIPP), construction of new SD manhole, asphalt paving, and concrete paving. The Project is located at Moorpark Rd., Thousand Oaks, CA - approx. 550 f.t north of Gainsborough Rd. Estimate Amount of all Bid Schedules: $140,000.00 The proposed improvements include the rehabilitation of an existing 24-inch Corrugated Metal Pipe (CMP) storm drain located within Moorpark Road using steam cured-in-place pipe (CIPP) lining. A new 30-inch storm drain manhole shall be constructed at the east end of the alignment to provide access for CIPP lining installation. Access at the west end shall be provided through an existing curb inlet catch basin. The scope of work also includes pavement rehabilitation on the west side of Moorpark Road, directly across from the primary scope of work. Bidders must confirm that they have read through and met all bid requirements. Bid security must be provided prior to the bid opening, either as an electronic bid bond through Surety2000, or by submitting one of the following to the City Clerk Department: original hard copy of the notarized bid bond on the city's bond form, certified check, cashier's check, or cash. Bidders are fully responsible for ensuring bid security is received before the bid opening, and failure to do so will result in the bid being deemed incomplete and non-responsive.
