Site work and paving for a road / highway in Greentown, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
7,000 square yards of 2.5-inch depth milling, 1,590 tons of Superpave 9.5mm leveling course, and 355 tons of 2A aggregate for a paving project. Bids must be accompanied by a 10% certified check or bid bond, payable to the municipality. Performance and payment bonds in the amount of 100% are required by the successful bidder within 20 days of contract award. The successful bidder is required to comply with Pennsylvania prevailing wages. Pre-bid project review is mandatory. Proposals must be submitted on forms furnished by the municipality, and bids must be placed in a sealed envelope marked with the project name. The Supervisors reserve the right to reject any or all bids.
