The Temerty Building, at 1 King's College Circle, offers a unique opportunity to redevelop the Medical Sciences Building's (MSB) "West Wing" within the heart of the St George Campus, known as the Front Campus. The Temerty Building creates a recognizable and welcoming entrance for the University of Toronto's (U of T) medical and life science community with the Temerty Faculty of Medicine (TFoM) and the Faculty of Arts & Science (A&S). The University of Toronto is seeking to shortlist up to three (3) Proponents for an IPD Electrical Trade Contractor - Division 26 for the Temerty Building for the Temerty Faculty of Medicine at the St. George campus. This project is being delivered via the Integrated Project Delivery (IPD) method using the CCCD 30-2018 Contract with Supplementary Conditions. The successful Proponent will become IPD Parties in the Project with the Owner, IPD Designers, IPD Contractor, IPD Mechanical Contractor and IPD Concrete Formwork Contractor and as pursuant to the terms of the Agreement. This RFSQ represents the first part of a two-stage process; shortlisted Proponents will be invited to submit a response to a subsequent RFP. Proponents who respond to this RFSQ must have demonstrable experience with Integrated Project Delivery (IPD) and/or collaborative projects (such as design build, alliance, progressive design build, P3) and lean construction methodologies and principles and a willingness to participate in the collaborative IPD process.
