The City of Wood Village is seeking proposals from qualified contractors licensed in the state of Oregon for asphalt patching of approximately 5 square yards, crack and curb line sealing of approximately 4580 lineal feet, and slurry sealing of approximately 2910 square yards on residential streets. Bid Alternate 1 includes, as separate bid items, an additional 61 square yards of dig-out patching, 400 lineal feet crack and gutter line sealing, and 600 square yards of slurry sealing on Riverwood St. Work includes street cleaning, curb-line weed removal, crack and curb line sealing, and type II slurry seal application of the residential road segments identified. Patching requires saw-cutting and removal of asphalt surfacing, base rock and weak subgrade, placement and compaction of new base rock and asphalt with a minimum 2" thickness of Type C hot mix asphalt concrete. Alternative repair methods may be considered if approved by City staff. Prospective bidders are encouraged to field-verify quantities. Traffic control is required and a control plan must be submitted for approval. After sealing, flaggers or barricades must be provided until the surface is drivable.
