The City of Manassas Park is seeking expressions of interest from professional engineering consulting firms to provide services for federal, state, and locally funded projects. Services will include all aspects of project administration from planning and design, through project and construction management, to acceptance and close-out, primarily for transportation projects that must adhere to federal, state, and local requirements. Specific services may include completing planning-related studies, preparing design plans, preparing bid specifications, engaging in public outreach, reviewing traffic plans, developing cost estimates, acquiring easements and Right-of-Way as the City's agent, and various services associated with construction management and inspections post-award. Multiple contracts may be awarded (up to five) to qualified prime consultant firms. Contracts will be negotiated and awarded following the procedures outlined in the current Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) Manual for the Procurement & Management of Professional Services. Services will be obtained through Task Order Requests, leading to the issuance of Task Orders based on contract rates.
