Question Deadline 07/09/2026 If any person contemplating submitting a bid for the proposed contract is in doubt as the true meaning of drawings and specifications or other Contract Documents, he may submit to the Construction Manager a written request on the attached form for interpretation or correction thereof to be made by the Architect. Requests to be given consideration must be received at least seven (7) days prior to Bid date. Separate sealed proposals, in duplicate, are requested for the Potsdam Central School District 2026 Capital Outlay Project for the following Prime Contract: Contract No. 101 - General Construction. Bidders are required to submit a copy of their valid NYS Department of Labor Public Work Contractor and Subcontractor Registry Certificate of Registration with their bid. Applications for registration will not be accepted as a substitute. A Bid not accompanied by required bid security, valid Certificate of Registration, or required documents, or is incomplete or irregular, is subject to rejection. Bid documents may be examined at specified offices and exchanges. Physical Contract Documents can be obtained from DataFlow with a bid deposit for each set, and electronic documents are available for purchase online. Bids must be on the provided form, prepared in duplicate, and enclosed in an envelope labeled with the bidder's name and work title. A Bid Bond or Certified Check payable to the Owner in the amount of five percent (5%) of the Bid is required as a guarantee. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a satisfactory Performance and Payment Bond and may not withdraw the bid for forty-five days after the opening. Work is to commence immediately after contracts are signed and be prosecuted continuously and diligently. The Board of Education reserves the right to waive informalities, reject any or all bids, or accept the one in the best interest of the school district.
