Site work for a water / sewer project in Orofino, Idaho. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Work generally consists of cured-in-place pipe (CIPP) rehabilitation of sanitary sewer mains and laterals, including sewer bypass pumping, cleaning, closed-circuit television (CCTV) inspection, cutting off protruding taps, reinstating laterals, testing, and other miscellaneous related work. The Base Bid covers approximately 1,605 linear feet of 6-inch sanitary sewer pipe and approximately 1,370 linear feet of 8-inch sanitary sewer pipe. Additive Alternate 1 includes approximately 320 linear feet of 8-inch sanitary sewer pipe, and Additive Alternate 2 includes approximately 300 linear feet of 8-inch sanitary sewer pipe. Work is to be awarded and performed under one Notice to Proceed, based on available funding. Instructions to bidders indicate bids must be accompanied by bid security in the form of a bid bond, certified check, or cashier's check in the amount of 5% of the bid proposal; bid security will be forfeited if the selected bidder fails to enter into a contract as specified. Any objections to the contract documents must be raised five days prior to bid opening or are considered waived. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive formality in the bidding documents, and to select the lowest responsive and responsible bidder as in the interest of the Owner.
