Site work, paving and renovation of a civil project in Chipley, Florida. Completed plans call civil work for a road / highway and water / sewer project.

Question Deadline 07/21/2026 at 5:00 PM CT Any questions concerning the bid shall be emailed to rodadams@melvineng.com. This project primarily consists of roadway and drainage improvements on N 2nd Street from Glenwood Ave to Warren Ave within the City of Chipley. Roadway improvements include complete reconstruction of the existing paved roadway with the addition of concrete shoulder gutter along both sides and new concrete driveways and isolated sections of concrete sidewalk replacement. Drainage improvements consist of replacement and upsizing of existing stormwater culverts along with the addition of concrete end treatments and concrete drainage inlets. Signing and pavement markings are also included with thermoplastic striping being placed on the final asphalt surface. This project also includes utility relocations to facilitate the new drainage improvements. Utility relocations consist of 8" water main, fire hydrants, water services, utility valve and manhole adjustments, and 2" to 2.5" natural gas mains relocated with welded steel gas pipe. Roadway reconstruction, concrete shoulder gutter, concrete driveways and sidewalk replacement, stormwater culvert replacement and upsizing, concrete drainage inlets, pavement markings, and utility relocations including water main, fire hydrants, and natural gas mains. Bonds: Bid Bond required (unspecified amount).
