Base Work of this Contract consists of the following Replace fire alarm devices and panels in all buildings within security perimeter fencing and minimum-security building(s) with a new fire alarm system. Replacement shall include all initiating devices, notification devices, control panels, annunciator panels, and wiring. Provide a Proprietary Supervising Station Alarm System in the existing Central Control Room in each building within security perimeter fencing and minimum-security building(s) that will monitor all building fire alarm systems via Ethernet connection to the existing facility's Maintenance Network. Replace designated existing maintenance network switches with new switches that are Fire Alarm System compatible (UL864 compliant) in each building within security perimeter fencing and minimum-security building(s). Provide a System Monitoring Workstation in the Facility Safety Officer's office. Demolition of existing fire alarm systems in each building at the completion and State Fire Marshal acceptance of the new fire alarm systems within security perimeter fencing and minimum-security building(s). Remove existing fire alarm system campus wide. new building fire alarm systems are connected to existing campus wide maintenance network with supervising station and workstations. Bids are invited for a General Contract for the Work of the above project. Life safety upgrades for the correctional facility. Bonds: 5% Bid Bond, Certified Check required.
