The scope of work at existing facility includes relocating a DDC panel and zone temperature sensor for existing AHU-8, adding heating control for unit, along with ensuring it continues to be fully integrated with Carrier i-Vu Building Automation System (BAS) incorporating Direct Digital Controls (DDC). All materials and equipment used shall be standard components, regularly manufactured for this and/or other systems and not custom designed specifically for this project. All systems and components shall have been thoroughly tested and proven in actual use for at least two years. BAS manufacturer shall be responsible for all BAS and Temperature Control wiring for a complete and operable system. All wiring shall be done in accordance with all local and national codes. The BAS Contractor shall provide all new 120V and 24V power control wiring and conduit to all temperature control panels and control devices. Use wiremold conduit for exposed wiring. Ensure the bus layout is live on i-Vu . If communication is lost, controller can be found easily and view where it failed. Existing HVAC systems associated with project shall continue to maintain their sequences of operation and DDC points, unless noted otherwise.
