Renovation of a fire / police facility in Toledo, Ohio. Completed plans call for the renovation of a fire / police facility.
The project involves the complete removal and replacement of area #1 of the roof located at the Fire Maintenance Shop at 545 N. Huron, Toledo, Ohio, 43604. Bids are to be submitted electronically and must include required line items, city paperwork, annual paperwork with ACORD COI and BWC Certificate, project paperwork, a 5% bid guaranty, a signed construction contract, a tax exemption certificate, and any additional uploads if needed. The award will be based on a lump sum. Bidders must have a roofing license. The bid must remain valid for 90 days. A bid bond of 5%, payment bond of 100%, and performance bond of 100% are required. The project is expected to start upon issuance of a purchase order and last 4 to 6 weeks. Liquidated damages of $250 per day will apply. A pre-bid meeting will be held onsite. Bidders are encouraged to attend but it is not mandatory. Questions should be submitted through the Q & A tab by the stated deadline.
