The Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision necessary to perform monthly preventative maintenance and a one-time annual inspection, certification, and testing for the commercial elevator located in Building 20 at USCG Base Los Angeles Long Beach. Monthly preventative maintenance includes twelve monthly inspections, scheduled for the second week of each month, covering routine examination, adjustment, and lubrication of elevator components subject to wear and tear under normal operating conditions. The annual inspection and certification must comply with the latest American National Standard Safety Code for Elevators and Escalators, including evaluation of hydraulic systems, governors, safeties, and buffers. Labor Wage Rates for Los Angeles, California apply. Bidders must submit a breakdown of labor and material costs for monthly preventative maintenance and annual inspection/testing/certification. Bidders must also provide a detailed execution plan demonstrating technical capability to reliably maintain the specified schedule, and at least two references from the past two years for similar contracts. Labor rates must comply with the current SCA Wage Determination for Los Angeles.
