Site work and renovation of a playground / park / athletic field in Cross River, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a playground / park / athletic field; and for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.

Tennis court resurfacing and replacement of tennis nets and posts. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, transportation, insurance, permits, and incidentals necessary to complete the resurfacing of six (6) existing tennis courts comprising approximately 4,160 square yards and replace all competition tennis nets and posts. The work shall include, but not be limited to, the following: 1. Surface Preparation - Pressure Washing o Pressure wash the entire court surface. o Remove all dirt, mildew, debris, vegetation, and contaminants. Thoroughly air blow and clean all court surfaces prior to application of coatings. 2. Fabric Crack Repair System Fill cracks to refusal using Action Pave Acrylic Crack Repair and Leveling Binder Patch or approved equal. Install a fabric-based crack repair system over all structural crack repairs. A total of approximately sixty (60) linear feet of crack repair is included in the base bid. Apply one (1) coat of Action Pave Resurfacer over repair areas only. 3. Stain Block Application Furnish and install one ( 1) coat of 100% Acrylic Latex Stain Block over the entire court area in accordance with the manufacturer's specifications. 4. Acrylic Color Coating System Furnish and install the Action Pave Four-Coat Acrylic Color Coating Surface System or approved equal over the entire court area. System Requirements: One (1) coat resurfacer Two (2) coats filler o One (1) color finish coat Court Colors: o Inbound playing area: Purple O Outbound playing area: Medium Green INFORMATION TO BIDDERS All materials shall be installed in strict accordance with the manufacturer's written specifications and recommendations. 5. Tennis Court Line Striping 0 o Layout and hand-paint six (6) complete sets of regulation tennis court lines. Striping shall conform to current American Sports Builders Association (ASBA) standards. Use Action Pave Acrylic Textured White Line Paint or approved equal. Baselines shall be four (4) inches wide. 6. Pickleball Court Line Striping o 0 Layout and hand-paint twelve (12) complete sets of regulation pickleball court lines. Striping shall conform to current ASBA standards. Use Action Pave Acrylic Textured Light Purple and Light Green Line Paint or approved equal. 7. Tennis Net and Post Replacement Remove existing tennis nets and posts. Furnish and install six (6) complete sets of competition-grade tennis nets and posts. 0 Posts shall meet current competition and ASBA standards. o o Contractor shall ensure proper alignment, anchoring, tensioning, and installation of all equipment. All hardware, sleeves, anchors, fittings, and accessories required for a complete installation shall be included. 8. Site Cleanup o Remove all construction debris, excess materials, and equipment. Leave the site in a clean and safe condition upon completion. 9. Prevailing Wage Requirements . o This project is a public work project subject to the requirements of New York State Labor Law. The successful bidder shall pay all workers not less than the prevailing wage rates and supplements established by the New York State Department of Labor (NYSDOL).
