Question Deadline 07/17/2026 Not less than 10 days prior to Closing, prospective Bidders may submit in writing to the Issuing Officer (1 ) requests for clarification of the solicitation documents, (2) requests for changes to the specifications or contract terms and conditions, or (3) protests of the specifications or contract terms and conditions The Work includes all activities necessary to mobilize, remove equipment, demolish and replace clarifier floors, reinstall mechanical components, and complete topping grout installation for Clarifiers No. 1 and No. 2. Mobilization will be paid as a lump sum and covers all initial project setup, including staging, bonds, and insurance. The project also includes the removal , protection, and proper storage of the existing clarifier rake arms, scum skimmers, and associated equipment, with Manufacturer supervision as required . Additional work consists of removing the existing concrete floor and topping grout in each clarifier, including saw cutting, debris handling, and protection of adjacent structures and equipment. Replacement of the concrete floor will include subgrade preparation, granular fill, reinforcement, concrete placement, and hydraulic leak testing in accordance with the contract documents. Following floor replacement, the Contractor will reinstall all clarifier equipment previously removed, except for the squeegees, which will be replaced with new standard -size components. This reinstallation includes all labor, materials, equipment, and required recertification by the clarifier mechanism manufacturer. The Contractor will also furnish and place new topping grout for each clarifier to complete the installation. A contingency allowance is included to address unforeseen conditions. This allowance will be used only through Work Change Directives issued by the Owner and paid on a time-and -materials basis, with the Contractor providing detailed cost breakdowns for any additional work The Engineer's estimate is $808,800 to $ 1,213,200.00 *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
