The project consists of the construction of approximately 1,800 linear feet of 6-inch HDPE sanitary force main installed by horizontal directional drill; approximately 750 linear feet of 3-inch HDPE sanitary force main installed by horizontal directional drill; approximately 260 linear feet of 6-inch HDPE sanitary force main extension installed by open cut; two duplex pump stations, one with a pump rate of 33 gpm and the other with a pump rate of 89 gpm. This includes all sitework and on-site utilities. Bids will be received for a Single Prime Contract on a lump sum basis. Bid security must be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. The owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids. Only complete sets of Bidding Documents may be purchased and downloaded from the designated Issuing Office. Only bids from documents obtained from the authorized issuing office will be accepted. A pre-bid conference and site visit is highly encouraged. All questions must be submitted in writing by the designated deadline. A conditional or qualified bid will not be accepted. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsible, responsive bidder for the entire contract. Bid security shall be furnished as described in the Instructions to Bidders. The owner reserves the unqualified right to reject any and all bids.
