PCL ED, a Joint Venture, acting as the Construction Manager, is inviting Proponents to submit their Statement of Qualifications to pre-qualify to bid on the Decorative Ironwork and Architectural Metal Restoration, Conservation, Replication and Installation of the Centre Block Rehabilitation Project at 111 Wellington Street, Ottawa, Ontario. This prequalification includes, but is not limited to, the following: capacity to remove, repair, and replicate heritage metal work; hand-forged ironwork including decorative foliage elements; cast iron; condition assessments and treatment recommendations; material and finishes testing; written specifications and on-site mock-up samples; conservation and restoration; hot riveting; drawing out, upsetting; new casting; sinking, raising; welding forge type; welding cast iron; period assembly techniques such as riveting, custom fabrication of specialty or decorative screws and bolts, pinning, collars, mortice and tennon joints.
